God orchestrates a lot of things and speaks in a lot of ways...the worst thing I found to do is to immediately make my own conclusions about the future based on these moments. Sometimes I believe all he's saying is I AM HERE, I AM LISTENING, and I AM WITH YOU. Also they are prompts to simply pray over ideas, circumstances and people. The other day I was thinking about this school I feel He has spoken for me to start, Lovelyn Academy or Rainbow Elementary, and I asked Him in confusion, am I supposed to start a school here in America?? Then in the next two seconds there was a pic on my FB newsfeed that said "Loveland High School: Home of the Indians." Oh, hi God! And really?? But somehow after hearing Him speak so many times and having many strange coincidences with concepts/dreams, names, and people...and seeing those things come to nothing but a moment of "hi God"...I just think, yeah He's listening, but I stopped trying to predict or claim anything as prophecy for the future.
Maybe I'm wrong and I simply let the enemy steal something that The Lord was trying to do, or I wasn't patient enough or obedient enough to pray about it or follow His next prompt on that particular thing, maybe in disbelief that I had really heard from God in the first place. I will say that sometimes for me these moments have led to events in the future, and that was simply by more prayer over it and getting very obvious and specific answers to those prayers to lead me in a certain direction or to keep me still. My concern is that we miss out on a lot of great things God has for us because we don't follow His next prompts out of fear, disbelief, or disobedience...or we simply don't pray over these things to see Him work in it or to give us specific direction...so the dream or the opportunity dies. I think some of the greatest blessings or opportunities God has for us require the most courage, sacrifice, and leaps of faith. Think of Nehemiah approaching the King and then the great and fulfilling work that launched Him into, completing the wall around Jerusalem for His people? Or what about Ruth going into Boaz's room that night and laying at his feet, and the reward of this great man as her husband? What would have happened or not happened if they did not listen to God and other advisors to take these great steps of bravery and courage that most would opt out of because of fear of rejection or failure? Do you know when He's speaking to you to take a step of courage?

Behold, the former things have come to pass, And new things I declare; Before they spring forth I tell you of them.” (Isaiah 42:9 NKJV)
‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ (Jeremiah 33:3 NKJV)
And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. (Ephesians 4:30 NKJV)
Even from the beginning I have declared it to you; Before it came to pass I proclaimed it to you, Lest you should say, ‘My idol has done them, And my carved image and my molded image Have commanded them.’ “You have heard; See all this. And will you not declare it? I have made you hear new things from this time, Even hidden things, and you did not know them. (Isaiah 48:5-6 NKJV)
* I noticed these Lovely brands in my house soon after moving in...after sitting down one night in doubt and asking God if I was really supposed to open this children's home, Lovelyn. The next time at church I also saw a handbag with a Lovely brand embroidered on the front. I was too scared to ask the lady for a picture though. Lol.
I will write another blog about the Rainbow School "signs."
